OUR VISION
To see cities and regions awakened to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Church united in Kingdom purpose, and communities transformed through the presence of God, the truth of His Word, and the faithful service of His people.
The Awakening envisions a region where spiritual renewal bears lasting fruit: people surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, believers mature in their faith, families experience restoration, leaders serve with integrity, and churches work together to advance the Kingdom of God. We desire to see an awakened Church that understands its spiritual responsibility and carries the love, wisdom, holiness, and power of Christ into everyday life.
Beginning in Dallas–Fort Worth and extending throughout Texas and beyond, we envision a growing movement of prayer, worship, reconciliation, discipleship, and coordinated action. This movement will bring together spiritual leaders, congregations, intercessors, worshippers, community organizations, civic leaders, businesses, and strategic partners around a shared commitment to the spiritual and practical well-being of the region.
We envision meaningful relationships across racial, cultural, generational, denominational, and geographic boundaries—relationships marked by mutual honor, biblical conviction, accountability, and a willingness to serve together. Each participating church, ministry, and organization brings distinct gifts and responsibilities that can contribute to the flourishing of the whole community.
Our long-term vision is to see the fruit of awakening sustained across generations through strong local churches, equipped leaders, restored relationships, community service, and enduring partnerships. We desire to see people recognize their God-given assignments and faithfully fulfill them in their homes, congregations, workplaces, neighborhoods, and spheres of influence.
At the heart of this vision is the prayer of Jesus: that His people would be one, so that the world may believe (John 17:21). Our hope is that the unity, character, and service of the Church will make the reality of Christ visible throughout the region.
OUR MISSION
To gather, awaken, equip, and mobilize the Body of Christ through Christ-centered worship, united prayer, biblical teaching, leadership collaboration, and community engagement—cultivating spiritual renewal and sustained regional transformation.
As an initiative of Kingdom Culture International, The Awakening carries an apostolic and prophetic emphasis rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus Christ, and expressed through humility, discernment, responsible leadership, and service. We seek to help believers recognize what God is calling them to do and respond with obedience, preparation, and accountability.
We fulfill this mission through the following commitments:
1. Establish Prayer and Worship as Our Foundation
Create opportunities for united intercession, repentance, and worship that exalt Jesus Christ and cultivate hearts responsive to God. We will encourage ongoing prayer for spiritual leaders, families, churches, public servants, neighborhoods, and the needs of the region.
2. Proclaim the Gospel and Encourage Spiritual Renewal
Clearly communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, invite people into a saving relationship with Him, and call believers to renewed devotion, holiness, and obedience. We will encourage meaningful pathways into discipleship, Christian community, and continued spiritual growth through local churches.
3. Build Unity and Relationships Among Leaders
Convene spiritual leaders across congregations, traditions, generations, and communities to pray, listen, discern shared concerns, and identify opportunities to serve together. We will cultivate trust through honest communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to biblical faithfulness.
4. Equip Believers for Their Assignments
Provide biblical teaching, leadership development, and practical preparation that help believers understand their gifts, strengthen their character, and serve effectively. We will encourage leaders and participants to exercise spiritual authority with humility, wisdom, integrity, and care for others.
5. Connect Spiritual Renewal with Community Service
Develop opportunities for churches, ministries, community organizations, businesses, and civic leaders to collaborate in addressing identified local needs. Through listening, service, and responsible partnership, we seek to support families, encourage young people, strengthen neighborhoods, and contribute to the well-being of the region.
6. Sustain the Work Beyond Each Gathering
Use regional gatherings as points of connection and mobilization within an ongoing movement. We will encourage continued prayer, leadership dialogue, discipleship, volunteer engagement, and collaborative initiatives, with clear responsibilities and follow-through that help relationships grow and commitments become action.
Through The Awakening, we seek to see a people awakened to God, united in Christ, equipped for service, and mobilized to bring His love and truth into the life of their communities.
